European Broadcasting Union (EBU) recruiting a Senior Media Analyst

The Media Intelligence Service (MIS) at the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) is recruiting a Senior Media Analyst.

This is a Full Time position and a permanent contract will be offered after a trial period.
Please, notice that this vacancy is addressed to senior researchers (5-8 years full time experience) with a very international profile. Proficient command of English is mandatory.

The Senior Media Analyst carries out diverse research tasks including: collection and processing of information, advanced and complex analysis - including quantitative and qualitative methods -, production of high quality and accurate studies, reports, presentations, etc. S/He will be required to be very polyvalent, having to address topics in very diverse fields of knowledge related to the media system: market and industry structures, business trends, content production and programming strategies, sports and content rights, content and technology innovation, policy and regulation, trends in radio, tv and new media, etc. Her/his main goal will be obtaining a comprehensive and accurate perspective of the structure and dynamics of the media system, with the objective of identifying those issues with an impact on Public Service Media and providing the EBU Members and departments with added-value intelligence.

The Media Intelligence Service (MIS)  is the unit responsible for carrying out primary research and analysis in the field of media with a multidimensional approach (political, economic, socio-cultural and technological) and an international perspective. MIS' main mission is providing EBU departments and committees as well as EBU Members with reliable market data, trustworthy analysis and relevant arguments that support their daily operations and their strategic planning.
